A Naming Ceremony for a baby or child gives parents the opportunity to give thanks for the safe arrival of their son or daughter and introduces him or her to the family and friends.  It allows parents to publicly express their love and devotion to the child. It is a non religious ceremony which allows the child to choose their own beliefs later in life.

A Naming Ceremony lets parents choose other adults who will take a special interest in the child’s journey through life.  These people may be called Godparents, guardians or special friends.

I have a selection of readings from which to choose as well as many other symbolic and meaningful ceremonies. These include candle lighting, to symbolize the child’s heritage; a wish box with messages to the child from guests and many more unique ideas from which to select.
